About
OpenInTerminal-Lite is a lightweight macOS app that lets you open the current directory in Terminal, iTerm, Hyper, or Alacritty directly from Finder. It is designed for users who want to open their terminal quickly and without fuss, and it works with a single click.
Compared with the full OpenInTerminal app, OpenInTerminal-Lite is more lightweight and omits the GUI preferences and keyboard shortcut support found in the full version. It is positioned as the simpler option for users who do not need fancy features or extensive settings.
The project is open source under the MIT license. Note that signed builds are no longer provided, so users need to trust the unsigned binaries or sign the app themselves; installation can be done via Homebrew (brew install --cask openinterminal) or by manually downloading a release.
