About
OpenLogi is a local-first alternative to Logitech Options+, written in Rust. Click a button on its mouse diagram and bind one of 44 built-in actions to it, then set DPI and SmartShift, all driven over HID++. Bindings are written to a plain TOML file you own, and per-app profiles are coming in a later release.
OpenLogi has no account, no telemetry, and no cloud. It works with Logi Bolt, Unifying, and Lightspeed receivers, a direct Bluetooth pairing, or a USB cable, and a live device view shows paired devices with battery percentage and charge state. The in-app update check is opt-in and off by default.
Quit Logi Options+ before launching OpenLogi, since only one app can own a receiver at a time. macOS asks for Accessibility permission because OpenLogi remaps the Back, Forward, and middle buttons through a CGEventTap; the HID++ features don't need it. OpenLogi is available through Homebrew or as signed installers for macOS, Linux, and Windows.
