About
Orbit replaces the small utilities you would otherwise install one by one, such as a window switcher, clipboard history, screenshot tool, volume mixer and more, with a single app that lives in your menu bar. Click the icon and every tool is one panel away, and you can turn off any tool you don't need in Tools › Features.
Orbit Free costs nothing and includes screen capture with a full annotation editor and unlimited clipboard history. Orbit Pro adds Keep Awake, a system monitor, a per-app volume mixer, a window switcher that works across desktops, and Dock previews. Pro is a one-time payment of $8 for the first 50 licences, then $15, with no subscription; one licence covers up to 3 Macs and all 1.x updates. Every Pro feature can be tried free for 14 days without a card.
Orbit runs on any Mac with macOS 14.4 or later. It asks for Accessibility and Screen Recording permissions only when the tools that need them are first used, and according to the site it has no account, no analytics, and keeps your clipboard, screenshots and system readings on your Mac, with network use limited to the speed test you start and the update check.
