Origami Studio is an all-in-one app for designing, animating, and prototyping. Its Canvas offers freeform drawing tools, text editing, and visual components. Dynamic layouts update automatically when you make changes, which makes it faster to iterate on your work. You can also import editable vector shapes and text layers by copying and pasting them from Figma, using the Figma plugin.
You can build interactive components by laying them out in the Canvas and combining them with interactions in the Patch Editor. Patches give your prototypes access to native hardware capabilities, including the photo library, camera roll, live or recorded audio metering, the haptic engine, GPS location, and device motion from the accelerometer and gyroscope.
Origami Studio also lets you capture, trim, and export video of your prototypes, and share them nearby with Origami Live for critiques, reviews, or just for fun. The app is also faster, according to the company: the Patch Editor is 4.5x faster, the Origami Viewer is 2x faster, and the Origami Live Viewer is 2.1x faster.
