About
Osaurus is a Mac app for AI agents that live on your computer rather than in someone else's cloud. With a local model, your work stays on your machine, and Osaurus works offline with local models. Agents can work from a folder of your notes, documents, or references, and they keep a memory of your conversations across local and cloud models.
Osaurus's own open model, Raptor 0.6, is tuned for steady tool use on the computer you already have. It is 3.7 GB, built for 16 GB Macs, and runs on as little as 8 GB. If you choose a cloud model, the experimental Privacy Filter swaps names, emails, and account numbers for placeholders before a message is sent, then puts them back in the reply.
Agents ask before they change a file, keep changes in the folder you chose, and let you undo them. Insights shows everything Osaurus did, including anything that left your computer.
