Teams can search across their workspace instantly and ask questions about their documents to get direct AI answers.

Outline integrates with Slack so people can search, share, and ask questions from documents without leaving chat, and it can post notifications to channels when docs are updated. It also offers public sharing with a link or private sharing with a team, along with permissions, user groups, and guest access. Outline is built to be fast, supports RTL and 20 languages, connects to AI assistants through a built-in MCP server, and is open source with options to self-host or use the cloud-hosted version with a 30-day free trial.
