• Parendi now recognizes credit card statements from many more countries as a card account: purchases are expenses, and paying the bill is a transfer. Among them are Germany (American Express, DKB until 2023, comdirect Visa), France (Crédit Agricole with débit différé), the Netherlands (ICS, Rabobank, ING), the UK (Lloyds, Halifax, Nationwide, John Lewis), the US (American Express, Chase, Apple Card, Bank of America), Japan (including 三菱UFJカード, Saison, EPOS and Orico), Brazil (Inter), Sweden, Norway and Poland (SEB Kort, Amex, Bank Norwegian, DNB, mBank), Belgium (Amex, KBC), Portugal (Millennium, ActivoBank, BPI), Canada (BMO, Scotiabank, Rogers, Amex, Simplii), Australia (Amex, Qantas Money), New Zealand (ANZ, Westpac) and India (ICICI). If purchases from such a card are already in Parendi as income, delete them first and then import the file again. Without deleting, they’re added a second time.
• With Knab, Venmo, Caixa and Kotak, debits came in as income or payments received as expenses. Balance lines from Brazil and from BancoPosta no longer count as income, and American Express Japan reads the amount in yen instead of dollars. If you already imported such a file, delete these transactions first and import it again.
• Payments not yet booked only come in once the bank books them, and no longer show up twice afterwards. This applies to banks and cards from Germany, France, Italy, the Netherlands, the UK, Poland, Scandinavia, Portugal, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
• Transactions that were missing now come in: card payments and credits without a reference (DKB, N26, C24, Volksbank and Hypo in Austria, Wise, Ibercaja), fees, taxes and interest (Trade Republic, Monzo, Satispay) and the older Nubank card OFX. With DKB, Volksbank, Hypo, Wise, Satispay, Argenta, BNP Paribas Fortis, AIB, Westpac and ASB, the text now names the merchant or the other party. Months you already imported don’t come in twice on the next import; only what was missing is added.
• Parendi now rejects a file with several accounts or currencies instead of putting everything into one account (comdirect, George, Revolut, Rabobank, Belfius, AIB, Westpac Australia). Export each account separately instead.
• Statements from Poland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland now come in without the column dialog, as do more from Belgium, Portugal, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, India and South Africa, plus Fineco, C6 Bank, Revolut in Dutch and PayPay in English. Parendi reads the Caixa statement ending in .txt and SBI exports ending in .xls directly.
• PayPay payments made with a credit card count as a transfer, because the purchase is on the card statement. If you import both the Crédit Agricole account and card, the card’s monthly debit becomes a transfer once the card file accounts for it. Viseca one no longer shows the exchange rate as a foreign currency. The preview flags PayPal payments in a foreign currency and SBI exports that the bank cut off at 299 transactions.
