Picsart AI Playground is a desktop app for Mac and Windows that brings generative AI image, video, and audio creation into a dedicated workspace instead of a browser tab. You can bring in local files and reference media from your computer, compare creative directions across models, and edit the result before you export it, all without leaving the app.

The app supports video work in particular. You can generate a clip from a prompt with an AI model, animate a still image by adding a reference and describing the motion, or try the same brief with another model when the first result isn't right. You can also capture your screen without leaving AI Playground and keep the recording in the same workflow. The site notes that part of the AI workflow runs locally on your machine.

To use the app, install it and sign in with your existing Picsart account; no new account is needed. Available models and controls can change over time, so the site recommends checking the current model catalog inside the product. A web version of AI Playground is also available if you'd rather create from a browser.
