About
Piezo makes it easy to record audio on your Mac. Select an application or audio device, then hit Record to save the audio. Piezo requires almost no configuration, and its simple recording presets mean less worrying about settings.
Piezo can capture audio from just about any application playing on your Mac, including web audio from Safari or Chrome, VoIP calls from Zoom, FaceTime, and other apps, streaming music from services like Spotify and Apple Music, and movies from video players such as VLC and IINA. It can also record from audio inputs like microphones, including your Apple headset. For podcasts, it saves audio to distinct channels for easy editing. Open the settings popover to choose your recording quality, name your clip, and add comments.
Piezo is available as a free download for macOS 14.4 to 27. The download serves as both the free trial and the full version, and trial mode applies limitations. To unlock the full version, purchase a license key from the store and enter it in the app.
