Pokémon TCG Live is a free way to learn how to play the Pokémon TCG at your own pace. It includes every Pokémon TCG card currently available in the Standard format, Learning Lab tutorials that teach the rules, and a variety of decks to try after logging in. The game uses the same rules as the physical Pokémon TCG, so what you learn can be applied to in-person battles.
You can battle in the Standard format, take on Trainer Trials with varying rulesets, or use Build and Battle to emulate an in-person prerelease event. Online matchmaking lets you battle players around the world, and private battles let you challenge friends. A Battle Pass is released with each new Pokémon TCG expansion, offering in-game cosmetics, booster packs, and more as you complete quests and gain experience.
You can build your collection by redeeming codes from physical Pokémon TCG booster packs or earning booster packs through in-game expansion challenges. You can also exchange in-game currency for individual cards, booster packs, and bundles. The Mac version requires macOS Monterey 12 or later, 3 GB of available storage, and a broadband internet connection.
