About
PreviewSmith is a Mac app that gathers your App Store presence in one place. Point it at an Xcode project and your App Store Connect releases appear in the sidebar with their existing screenshots, letting you import, upload and delete screenshots without opening a browser. A coverage grid shows which device sizes and locales you still need to fill, and a checklist tracks items such as build, metadata, age rating, pricing, availability and export compliance.
It also renders the SwiftUI previews in your Xcode project into a searchable gallery you can export as PNGs, and includes a marketing image editor. That editor places previews or imported images into device bezels for iPhone, iPad, MacBook Pro and iMac, with your own title, subtitle, background and typography, composed at the exact App Store pixel size. Your App Store Connect key stays in the keychain, optionally protected by Touch ID, and images stay in your project document.
What's new
All release notesPreviewSmith can now create a release in App Store Connect, and write the copy that goes in it. • Create a release — bump the version in Xcode and PreviewSmith offers to create it in App Store Connect: how it's released, a date if it's scheduled, the copyright, and the languages to create it in, taken from the ones your project is built for. The version and platform come from the project, so they can't disagree with what you built. • Edit your App Store copy — the name, subtitle, promotional text, description, keywords, What's New and URLs are now editable, one language at a time, with a live count against each App Store Connect limit. Edited fields stay marked until you sync, a sync sends them, and anything you'd rather not send goes back to what App Store Connect last returned. Both are available while App Store Connect still accepts changes to a version: before you submit it, or after a rejection.
