Principle is a native macOS app for designing animated and interactive user interfaces, whether you're creating a short animation, a new interaction, or the flow of a multi-screen app. Its timeline, artboards, and magic animations help you illustrate effects like bounces, eases, and pops, and you can view all your screens from a bird's-eye view.

You can choose a device preset or enter a custom artboard size to design for mobile, web, or desktop, and use hover events and mouse wheel scrolling to build prototypes. Designs can be imported from Figma or Sketch, and re-importing merges your changes. You can share a design to the web with one click so others can interact with it in their browser without installing anything, or record and export a video or animated GIF to share.

Principle runs on both Intel and Apple Silicon Macs and includes full-screen mode, a Retina interface, and Auto Save. You can try the full version free for 14 days, where only days you actually use are counted. The full version costs $129.
