About
Progressive Downloader is a download manager for macOS that aims to get files as fast as possible by using the whole breadth of your Internet connection. It offers multi-thread and mirror search support. It requires macOS 13 (Ventura) or newer, and the archive has versions that support older macOS releases.
The app integrates with major browsers and includes a built-in FTP/SFTP/WebDAV browser for controlling remote resources. It can also be driven from AppleScript, Automator, or Shortcuts, and downloads can be set to run only during a specified time window.
The Plus version adds torrent downloads, seamless browser integration, and PD Link, which sends downloads from an iPhone or iPad to your Mac. Progressive Downloader is available from the official website or the Mac App Store.
