About
The PS Remote Play app for Mac lets you control your PlayStation 5 or PlayStation 4 console from a Mac at a different location, as long as you have a high-speed internet connection. For example, you can use a computer in another room to enjoy PS5 and PS4 games. A PS5 or PS4 console is required.
Not every game supports Remote Play. Games that require peripherals such as PlayStation VR2, PlayStation VR, or PlayStation Camera aren't compatible. Remote Play also can't be used at the same time as Share Play, streaming games from PlayStation Plus Premium, playing Blu-ray Discs or DVDs, using PS VR2 or PS VR mode, playing music, or watching video services. When controlling a PS4 console, you also can't broadcast gameplay.
Version 9.5.0 for Mac computer includes improved stability during use of some features. Support for macOS Big Sur has ended, so this version no longer supports that operating system.
