About
PXPlay is a remote play app formerly known as PSPlay, renamed to PXPlay but still the same app. It runs on Android, iOS and Apple TV, Windows, Linux, and Mac, with the Mac version requiring macOS 12.7 or later. The guide recommends a dual-core CPU, at least 2 GB of RAM, a 1024 × 768 or higher display, a wired connection for the console, and a 5GHz Wi-Fi network with at least 15 Mbps upload and download speeds for smoother streaming. Lower-end devices can run it by reducing resolution and frame rate settings.
To use PXPlay, you first register your console while your device is on the same network. This involves enabling Remote Play on the console, entering the 8-digit registration number shown there into the app, and signing in to your account on the official login site. Once registered, you can connect with "Local Connect" on the same network, or "Remote Connect" over the internet, which requires either router port forwarding or the automatic remote connection feature in the streaming settings. PXPlay also offers a Gamepad Mode that uses your phone as a controller without streaming audio or video.
