Qt Design Studio is a tool for bridging the gap between designers and developers, helping teams turn design visions into production-ready user interfaces. It includes an AI Assistant where users select a model and write prompts describing how components should appear in the scene, including interactions and state changes, to generate a UI prototype in minutes, with no need to code or write QML.

For workflows that start in Figma, the Figma to Qt plugin runs inside Figma and converts GUI designs to QML code. Users can preview designs and catch conversion issues early. As a dedicated conversion tool rather than a generative one, its output is predictable: what is approved in Figma is what the developer receives. The page also describes a 3D workspace for building 3D HMIs for embedded software, and a project structure intended to make handover between designers and developers smoother.
