About
RazorSQL is an SQL query tool, database browser, SQL editor, and database administration tool that runs on Windows, macOS, Mac OS X, Linux, and Solaris. It has been tested on over 40 databases and can connect to them via JDBC or ODBC, with supported databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, SQLite, and many others. Users can browse database objects such as schemas, tables, columns, keys, views, indexes, procedures, and functions, and run SQL queries through the built-in SQL editor, which uses the EditRocket code editor.
RazorSQL also provides visual tools to create, alter, describe, execute, and drop database objects, along with a query tool that displays multiple query results in tabs with filtering, sorting, and searching. Data can be imported from delimited files, Excel spreadsheets, and fixed-width files, and exported to formats including delimited files, XML, HTML, Excel, JSON, and SQL insert statements. An SQL query builder helps create select, insert, update, and delete statements and multi-table joins.
For editing and comparison, the Edit Table tool lets users insert, update, and delete table data in a spreadsheet-like format, with find and replace and SQL preview. The Data Compare feature compares table data across databases or query results. RazorSQL includes the HSQLDB relational database, which runs out of the box with no manual configuration.
