About
Reamp brings the familiar workflow of the classic Winamp player to macOS 10.14 and later. It supports many audio formats, so you can play a diverse music collection without converting files first. You can customize its look with skins, from old-school designs to minimalist ones, and run the interface in an unobtrusive windowshade mode. Reamp is currently in beta, and the developer invites feedback to improve stability, performance, and usability.
The player includes a base skin with standard playback controls, a built-in spectrum analyzer and oscilloscope, and track information such as title, bitrate, and sample rate. Its playlist supports drag-and-drop editing, sorting, saving and loading, and ID3 tag editing. A ten-band graphic equalizer with a built-in pre-amplifier can save general and song-specific settings.
For managing music, Reamp offers a media library that organizes local files in one searchable place, with browsing by artist, album, genre, or year. An album art view shows large cover art for the current track, and a tag editor lets you update metadata, track and disc numbers, and cover art. The app focuses on local music playback rather than social features.
