Redis Insight is a free, official developer tool for working with Redis databases. It works across all Redis deployments, including Redis Software, Redis Cloud, Redis Community Edition, Azure Managed Redis, and Redis on AWS and GCP, and can run on desktop, on the web, in Docker, Kubernetes, or on Amazon EC2. It combines an intuitive graphical interface with an advanced command-line interface, so you can browse, filter, and act on your data, including full CRUD and batch support for key-value types.

The tool is built to help you find and fix issues faster. Its troubleshooting features include slow log inspection, a command profiler, and a database analyzer that checks performance, memory usage, and data type distribution. For building queries, it offers syntax highlighting, schema-aware auto-completion, vector search support, and Redis Copilot, an AI assistant that can answer Redis questions and help construct queries from natural language. Streams and Pub/Sub can be visualized and monitored in real time, and key values can be viewed in human-readable formats such as JSON, MessagePack, HEX, and ASCII.

Redis Insight also supports a Redis for VS Code extension for working inside your IDE, and it integrates with Redis Data Integration for loading relational data into Redis. Embedded tutorials and Copilot suggestions help newcomers get started quickly, while the built-in Workbench CLI offers command auto-completion and shortcuts for experienced users.
