About
Reflex is a small utility that lives in your menu bar. It takes control of your media keys and directs them to the app you choose, as long as that app is Apple Music, Spotify, Doppler, or VOX. You can also optionally have it take over your volume keys so they control your music app.
By default, macOS media keys control whichever app is foremost or was last used. That can be confusing: if you start listening to music and then open a YouTube video, pressing play/pause may pause the video instead of your music. With Reflex running, the media keys behave consistently and predictably.
Reflex requires macOS 14.6 or newer. Reflex 1.2 is available for macOS 10.14 through 14.5.
