About
RemNote is an AI note-taking tool that combines notes, flashcards, PDFs, and AI study tools in one app. You can write typed notes with its outlining editor, take handwritten notes on a tablet and convert them to text, and upload PDFs and slides to annotate with highlights, drawings, and shapes alongside your notes.
You can add flashcards directly in your notes, or let the AI generate them from your notes, PDFs, or lecture transcripts. Flashcards use spaced repetition, which resurfaces cards right before you're likely to forget them. An exam scheduler tells you what to study each day based on your exam date. The app also includes an AI tutor chat for questions about your notes, AI explanations on your cards, and a built-in AI quiz generator.
RemNote offers desktop and mobile apps, and your notes sync across devices. You can take notes offline and sync when you reconnect. The site says the app is used by over 1,000,000 students to study and get higher grades.
