About
Replacicon makes it easy to find, change, and replace app icons on the Mac. It scans online sources, such as macosicons.com, for thousands of replacement icons for each of your installed macOS apps and shows them all in one place. Its machine-learned models help identify which icons are most in need of an update, and on macOS Tahoe and macOS Golden Gate, it can help free your app icons from the icon jail.
You can search all installed apps, use filters to focus on apps in your Dock, and hide apps and icons you don't want to see. You can import your own icons from disk, restore original icons if you change your mind, and keep your alternate icons across app updates, since Replacicon watches for updates in the background. In version 2.0, you can also use Apple Intelligence and Image Playground to generate replacement app icons within Replacicon.
Replacicon is a native macOS app that works with Intel and Apple Silicon Macs. It runs on macOS 13 Ventura or newer, and macOS 27 Golden Gate is fully supported. The app is available as a one-time payment rather than a subscription, and it is translated through CrowdTranslate.
