About
RiverScript lets you upload audio or video files, record your voice, or capture any audio playing on your computer, such as webinars, calls, and videos, without extra apps or permissions. A single click transcribes your media, and you can choose plain text for clean, readable transcripts or timed subtitles for video and audio content.
In the editor, you can click any timecode to jump to that moment in the audio, edit your transcript directly, and use speaker recognition with color-coded labels. You can also translate transcripts with AI, generate summaries, or chat with your content. Finished transcripts can be exported to PDF, DOCX, or SRT, or shared through a link.
RiverScript is designed for students, content creators, and professionals. Its desktop client processes files up to 50GB, and the service is free to start, with paid plans for more media hours and AI credits. Audio is kept for 7 days, transcripts are kept for as long as you wish, and the servers are based in Helsinki, Finland.
