Roam

About

Roam is a remote work app for teams that combines a shared virtual office with video meetings, messaging, and AI tools. Its Virtual Office gives a live view of who is in the office, who is meeting whom, and who is talking, and you can click someone to chat or click an empty seat to join a room. Drop-In Meetings let you knock on a colleague's empty seat for an audio-only conversation, and Meeting Rooms provide video conferencing with screensharing and a whiteboard.

The app also includes Theater mode for all-hands presentations, AInbox for direct messages, group chats, and custom groups, and Lobby links for scheduling with guests. Magic Minutes provides AI transcriptions and summaries of meetings, while Magicast records screen presentations with picture-in-picture video. On-It is an AI assistant that can watch for specific colleagues meeting, schedule meetings, follow up via email and chat, and search Magic Minutes.
