Rocket

About

Rocket is a free Mac app that makes typing emoji faster and easier. Type a colon followed by an emoji name, such as , and Rocket helps auto-complete it in any app. The free version includes access to every emoji through the shortcut window, a choice of skin tone, and light and dark themes.

Rocket Pro adds more to your shortcuts. You can scroll and search through every emoji in the Search & Browse window, use Rocket to send and store gifs, images, and memes, set custom emoji shortcuts, add your own emoji, and add text expansion snippets. Pro also includes emoji stats.

Pro costs $10 and can be unlocked through the 🚀 icon in your Menu Bar or purchased online. The developer says they will never nag you to upgrade.
