About
Rollcage is a Mac menu-bar app that snapshots your projects when Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent you list starts running in them. Each snapshot is an APFS copy-on-write copy that takes well under a second and almost no disk space, with another every 15 minutes while the agent works. If files start disappearing, Rollcage counts them and alerts you, and a mass-delete alarm fires when 100 files vanish in 10 seconds or the folder itself disappears.
Rather than undoing one edit at a time, Rollcage undoes a whole agent session in one click. Each run gets a report of the files it deleted, edited and created, plus every command it ran and anything the Guard stopped. Undoing the session brings back deleted files, reverts edits and moves new files aside, while any edits you made afterward stay as they are.
The Guard checks what an agent reads and runs. It blocks access to secret files such as .env files and credentials, catches attempts to dump environment variables, and refuses uploads to file-drop and paste sites. Destructive commands are blocked or paused for your approval, and pushes to protected branches, cloud deletes and production database connections wait for you. Rollcage works with Claude Code, Codex CLI, Cursor, Gemini CLI, Antigravity, Aider, OpenCode, Goose and Amp. It costs $10 once per Mac, every update is included, and it requires macOS 14 Sonoma or later.
