About

Rotki is an open source crypto portfolio tracker that runs on your own computer, including macOS, and also supports Windows, Linux and Docker. It brings your exchanges, wallets and DeFi positions into one app, decodes your on-chain history and produces profit and loss reports. Your data is stored encrypted on your own device rather than on rotki's servers, and no rotki account is needed to use it. Exchanges connect through read-only API keys, and rotki never holds your funds.

The Dashboard gives an overview of your assets and liabilities, showing your exposure to each as a percentage of your net worth, along with a graph of net worth over time. Free users are limited to the last 2 weeks of that graph. rotki supports 190+ exchanges, blockchains and DeFi protocols, including Ethereum, Bitcoin, Solana, Kraken, Coinbase and Aave.

rotki can run an MCP server on your computer so an AI assistant such as Claude Code, OpenCode or ChatGPT can query your history and balances in read-only mode. You choose a privacy mode (Strict, Balanced or Raw) to control how much the assistant sees, and identifiers are masked before anything reaches the assistant in the first two modes. Premium sync is optional and, when used, is encrypted with your password before upload.
