About
RsyncUI is a SwiftUI macOS GUI for rsync. It handles task organisation and parameter configuration so you can get the most out of rsync without using the command line. It requires macOS Sonoma or later and can be installed with Homebrew (brew install --cask rsyncui) or downloaded from the releases page. The application is signed and notarized by Apple.
RsyncUI builds rsync and SSH arguments for synchronization, dry runs, snapshots, restoration, verification, and remote file listings, and it streams rsync output to handle progress, errors, and completion. It also parses rsync output into transfer statistics, including file counts, created and deleted files, and data sizes. Supporting tasks include SSH key creation, connection checks, and snapshot deletion.
RsyncUI also creates and validates deep-link URLs for profile actions and widget integration. The project is released under the MIT license, and user documentation is available at rsyncui.netlify.app/docs/.
