QLMarkdown is a macOS Quick Look extension for viewing Markdown files. The application uses the cmark-gfm library for Markdown processing, with added extensions such as definition lists, GitHub-style alerts, emoji shortcodes, syntax highlighting, math via MathJax, and Mermaid diagrams. It also previews several related formats, including rmarkdown, MDX, Cursor Rulers, Quarto, API Blueprint, and textbundle packages. The website states it is not intended as a standalone Markdown editor or viewer, and that it is provided "as is" without warranty.
