About
Scapple is freeform mind-mapping software for writers that works like a virtual sheet of paper. Double-click anywhere on the page to create a note, then connect notes with lines or arrows by dragging one note onto another.
Scapple doesn't force connections. Every note is equal, so you decide which notes connect and which don't. You can move notes anywhere without running out of space, stack them in columns of related ideas, create background shapes to group notes, and customise how notes look.
Scapple also offers full screen mode, lets you export or print your ideas, and lets you drag notes into Scrivener. A video tutorial demonstrates the Mac version in about eight minutes, and the Mac app requires macOS 10.15 or later.
