Screen Studio is a screen recorder for Mac that handles zooms, motion, sound, and framing, so demos and tutorials come out polished. It animates zooms automatically based on where you clicked during recording, and you can also add a manual zoom to point at a specific part of the screen. Motion blur, a smoothed cursor path, and click effects make movement easier to follow, and you can change the cursor's size and style after recording.
Screen Studio also helps you shape a recording for different uses. You can record your whole display, one window, or a selected area, and bring along your webcam, microphone, and Mac system sound. Camera layouts include fullscreen camera, split screen, camera overlay, screen only, and camera cutout, and the transitions between them animate for you. Camera cutout removes the background behind you, entirely on your Mac. One take can be exported as wide, square, or vertical, with zooms, layouts, and captions adjusting automatically, and Reel mode previews how Instagram or TikTok's interface would sit over your video.
The app is used for product demos, courses, tutorials, and social posts. It is available for Mac, with macOS 13.1 or later recommended.
