About
ScreenFloat is an all-in-one screen capture tool for Mac that covers capturing and recording, editing and extracting data, and sharing and archiving. You can take selective or timed screenshots, record an area of your screen with audio and optional cursor, click, and key-press highlighting, and recapture previously selected areas. Captured shots scan for text, faces, and barcodes to make extraction and quick redaction easier, and you can copy text or barcodes directly from the screen with a modifier-key capture.
Shots you capture float above all windows, staying visible across spaces and fullscreen apps, somewhat like picture-in-picture for screenshots. A built-in color picker and customizable double-click workflows let you automate repetitive tasks on floating shots. ScreenFloat requires macOS Monterey 12.3 or newer and is available as a one-time purchase on the Mac App Store or the developer's website.
