About
Screens Assist is a free and simple tool that lets someone remotely connect to your Mac. It generates a unique link that you can share, and the person helping you opens that link in Screens, the remote access app, to connect. No complicated setup is required. It can be used for troubleshooting, collaboration, or remote assistance.
Your Mac's login credentials are never shared. Instead, you receive a notification to approve or deny the connection request, so you stay in full control.
Screens Assist 2.0 requires macOS Monterey 12.4 or later, and Screens Assist 1.6 is available for macOS 10.13 to 12.3. The app guides you through the configuration process, and detailed instructions are available on the website.
