About
Secure Pipes is a native macOS app for managing SSH connections. It lets you build local and remote port forwards and run a local SOCKS endpoint, while keeping connection profiles, host presets, connection state, logs, and traffic views in one place. Profiles can be tagged and grouped, and SFTP file transfers, browsing of local SSH config host aliases, and AppleScript and spcli automation are also available.
Secure Pipes keeps SSH trust explicit: host-key verification remains part of the connection flow, and passwords and license details are stored in the macOS Keychain. The app manages configuration and connection workflows, but it is not a VPN, a hosted SSH service, or a custodian of data on your servers. It runs on macOS 12 or later on both Apple silicon and Intel Macs.
The Free Edition includes core SSH security and forwarding features. Pro removes limits on saved records, groups, and active connections. Features such as sharing, WebDAV backup and restore, jump hosts, post-connect actions, and automation share a single 7-day trial, after which they require Pro. Pro is a one-time license for the current major version.
