About
Sensei is a Mac system performance monitoring tool. Its Sensei Monitor shows real-time statistics for CPU, GPU, battery health, and storage usage from your status bar, with in-depth hardware insights for both Intel and Apple Silicon Macs. An editor lets you customize status bar and dropdown panel widgets, build your own monitoring dashboards, and adjust the look with themes and styling options. Thermal and hardware tools track CPU and GPU temperatures, fan speeds, and battery cycle count and capacity, while the Drive Health Report runs a S.M.A.R.T. analysis of your HDD or SSD.
Sensei also helps you free up storage. Its disk scanner detects system junk, old caches, system logs, large downloads, and leftover installation files, and its Uninstaller removes apps along with their leftover files. Sensei says it does this without touching your personal data. A Disk Benchmark tool measures the read and write speeds of your storage with a single click, and an SSD Trim tool enables Trim support on your Mac with a simple switch.
Sensei is available as a free download or for purchase, and its website describes it as a way to keep an eye on your system for you.
