Sentinel is a field tool for security-camera installers and IT admins that discovers ONVIF and SADP (Hikvision-compatible) cameras and recorders on the local network, including devices outside your current subnet through multicast. Results appear live as devices respond, and each device shows its model, firmware, MAC, serial, and current network settings.
Use Sentinel to bring brand-new, uninitialised cameras online and set a strong admin password with a built-in strength meter. You can also change a device's IP address, subnet mask, and gateway, or switch between static IP and DHCP. Credentials are stored in the iOS/macOS Keychain, and password-policy enforcement is applied to each device.
