SessionRestore is a Safari session manager for macOS 14 and later. It autosaves your browsing sessions, so the windows and tabs you have open are not lost if Safari crashes. It integrates into Safari as a native Safari Extension.
Sessions can be named, tagged, and given custom notes, and these details are searchable by name, URLs, tags, and notes. You can drag and drop sessions, windows, or tabs to merge them or to create new sessions. Screenshots help you recognize saved sessions, and you can edit and rename them at any time.
SessionRestore has a minimalist, lightweight interface. Its features include iCloud support for preferences and saved sessions, configurable autosave, export and import for archiving, global hotkey configuration, and Safari contextual menu options. The app is localized for English, German, Dutch, and French, and runs on both Apple Silicon and Intel Macs.
