About
ShareMouse lets you control multiple computers from a single mouse and keyboard. Move the mouse to the monitor of the computer you want to control, and the pointer jumps to that computer. No additional hardware or button press is required, and all mouse and keyboard input is transmitted to the corresponding computer over your local LAN, similar to a network KVM.
ShareMouse also works across Windows and Mac in either direction, so you can control a Mac from a PC or a PC from a Mac. You can drag and drop files between computers without setting up file shares, and share the clipboard so that formatted text or files copied on one computer can be pasted on another with a single key press. ShareMouse can also sync actions between computers, such as locking or unlocking multiple Windows computers at once and synchronizing screen savers.
Mouse clicks and text input are sent directly between your computers, and ShareMouse says it never records or transmits your input anywhere. For added security, network traffic can be password-protected and AES encrypted. A freeware edition is available free of charge for personal users.
