About
Sitala is a drum plugin and standalone app built around simplicity. It offers 16 assignable pads, each sample analyzed for dynamics and pitch, along with six knobs for shaping sounds through controls such as shape, compression, tuning, tone, and volume/pan. Sounds can be loaded by dragging and dropping single samples or whole sample folders onto the pads, and kits can be rearranged, copied, swapped, and saved to a user library. Beat slicing automatically detects individual hits and maps them to pads.
Version 2.1.2 adds pitch snapping with note labels for precise tuning, self-contained REAPER projects that collect kits and samples into the project folder, MIDI switching between kits, and manual missing-sample recovery with missing drive detection. Sitala also supports an editable MIDI map, a built-in file browser, multi-out in REAPER, and a 4x4 MPC-style layout. It is available as VST, AudioUnit, AAX, and standalone, with native Apple Silicon support, and includes the 808, Future Retro Pop, and Hip Hop Ultra factory kits.
