About
Skills Manager is a lightweight desktop app for managing, syncing, and organizing AI agent skills across 50+ coding tools, including Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Copilot, and Gemini CLI. You can install skills from Git repos, local folders, .zip or .skill archives, or the skills.sh marketplace. Everything goes into one central repo, which defaults to ~/.skills-manager and can be changed in Settings.
Skills can be grouped into named presets and activated or deactivated for the current agent scope with a single click, though applying a preset is a one-time copy rather than a live sync. Each agent has its own Global Workspace showing every skill in its global folder, and Project Workspaces let you manage project-local skill folders and sync changes in either direction. Skills can be synced to any supported tool via symlink or copy, and you can tag, filter, batch-edit, preview, and check Git-based skills for upstream updates.
Skills Manager can back up your library to a private GitHub repository or any Git remote and keep connected devices in sync. Merges are skill-aware, and true conflicts never block: your local version stays until you choose keep mine, use remote, or keep both. Install, remove, update, and sync operations are recorded in a local activity log, and Settings → Export Logs bundles recent logs into a zip for issue reports.
