SmoothCapture is a Mac app for turning a raw screen recording into a product video. You can record your Mac screen, a window, or an area, record an iPhone or iPad over USB, or capture the iOS Simulator. On every take, zooms follow your clicks and the cursor glides smoothly. You can keep a take in a clean, focused look, or drop it onto a 3D iPhone, MacBook, iPad, or Watch and apply one-click camera moves. Animated titles, graphics, and slides sit on the same timeline as your recording and 3D shots, so you don't need a separate motion design tool.
SmoothCapture also includes a built-in MCP server, so AI agents such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or any MCP client can record, cut by transcript, add titles and graphics, direct the 3D camera, write a voiceover, and export inside the open project. Every agent change appears live on the timeline as one undo step, and the server opens no network port.
