About
SnapMotion extracts images from your videos in the best possible quality. Select the frame you want, click the blue button, and the app captures that exact image, so you avoid poor-quality screenshots. It can open heavy files such as 4K and 8K videos, and you can rotate or flip videos without re-encoding them.
You can open videos from Finder, from your Photos library, or by pasting an HTTP video URL. For larger jobs, batch processing lets you set a timer and extract thousands of images, which can be converted to GIF or MP4. Clip range support lets you choose the part of a video to work with. SnapMotion carries over metadata, including EXIF GPS tags and EXIF DateTimeOriginal and IPTC Date/TimeCreated values, and it can process multiple files in the background while you keep working in other apps. Exports are available as PNG, JPEG, TIFF, GIF, and MP4.
SnapMotion is a universal app, so one purchase works across your Mac, iPhone, and iPad. You can download it from the developer's website, where a free version is available, or from the Mac App Store, where you can also get SnapMotion Lite. The app is translated into English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Japanese, and Chinese.
