Snippety is a text expander for Mac and iPhone. Type a keyword and it expands into full text, fill-in forms, conditional logic, live dates, shell script output, and AI-generated content, system-wide in every app. Unlike static expanders, it runs a templating engine, so one snippet can adapt to different situations. For example, a single snippet can show a priority-support line for Premium customers and a standard line with a calculated reply date for everyone else.

Snippety also covers automation and integration: it offers a command-line interface, 20+ Shortcuts actions with Siri support, and the ability to run shell scripts inside snippets. It includes syntax highlighting for 50+ languages, App Rules that show per-app snippet libraries, iCloud sync, and secure sharing of snippets with teammates. AI features let you generate, translate, or rewrite text using your own model, including a local one. The iOS companion app includes a custom keyboard.

Snippety is native rather than web-based, requires no account, and keeps data on your device or in your own iCloud. It offers a free start, then a low monthly plan or a one-time purchase with lifetime updates, and includes 250 built-in themes.
