Sonic 3 A.I.R.

About

Sonic 3 A.I.R. is a fan-made widescreen remaster of Sonic 3 & Knuckles. Its macOS version is a port by Sappharad, and downloads and further information are available on Sappharad's website. To play, you need a compatible Sonic 3 & Knuckles ROM, such as the one from S3&K on Steam.

The remastered soundtrack is not included in the current stable release. It must be downloaded from within the game's Options menu. The project is open source, and its code is on GitHub.

A game manual PDF covers topics such as troubleshooting and explanations of the in-game options. Players who have graphics issues can try changing the renderer to OpenGL Software or switching to fail-safe mode, as described in the manual.
