SoundSource gives you fast access to your Mac's Output, Input, and Sound Effects audio devices from the menu bar. You can adjust system settings such as volume, input levels, balance, and sample rate, and add audio devices and apps to the menu bar to see activity or mute them with a click. Super Volume Keys make the keyboard volume keys work with HDMI, DisplayPort, and other outputs that don't support them by default.

Per-app controls let you change each application's volume independently, make an app louder, softer, or completely muted, and send one app's audio to a different output, such as your best speakers, while everything else plays through your Mac's built-in output. You can also apply a built-in 10-band equalizer and Audio Unit plugins to individual apps or to all audio on your system, and use built-in effects such as Volume Overdrive, Magic Boost, and Headphone EQ to enhance sound.

SoundSource also supports AirPlay 2 devices, letting you stream the audio of specific apps or your whole system to one or more AirPlay devices, kept in sync through output groups. Robust Shortcuts support lets you trigger audio adjustments through workflows in the Shortcuts app. SoundSource is available as a free download with limitations in trial mode, and you can purchase it to unlock the full version.
