About
SoundSource gives you powerful audio control of your Mac from the menu bar. Get fast access to the settings for your Mac's Output, Input, and Sound Effects devices, including volume, input levels, balance, and sample rate. Super Volume Keys make the volume keys on Mac keyboards work with outputs such as HDMI and DisplayPort audio.
SoundSource also lets you adjust individual apps. You can change the volume of any app relative to others, mute an app entirely, and send each app to a different audio output. Effects can be applied to all audio on your system or to individual apps, using the built-in 10-band equalizer, support for Audio Units, and built-in effects such as Volume Overdrive, Magic Boost, and Headphone EQ.
SoundSource includes AirPlay support, so you can stream the audio from specific apps to AirPlay devices rather than sending all of your Mac's audio at once. Output groups let you play audio to multiple AirPlay devices in sync, and support includes AirPlay 2 hardware such as Apple TVs, HomePods, and Sonos. Shortcuts support lets you trigger audio adjustments through workflows. SoundSource is available as a free download, and the full version can be unlocked with a purchase; trial mode applies limitations.
