About
SpaceJump is a native macOS app with two parts. For Spaces, you give each desktop a name, color, and icon, then see those names in the menu bar and in Mission Control. A Quick Switcher lets you press a shortcut, type a few letters, and jump to any desktop, with another shortcut to return to where you were. Each Space can also have its own note with a checklist, and automations can open apps, arrange windows, or run a Shortcut or script when you enter it.
For windows, SpaceJump draws a grid over your screen. You can drag a window onto a cell or press a cell's number from 1 to 9 to place it, split cells and resize them, and drop one window on another to swap them. You can save grids as layouts, use a different layout on each Space, and use Smart arrange to put every window on a desktop into its layout with one click.
Combined, a Space can have a name, a layout, and a set of apps. When you switch to it, any missing apps open and each window moves to its place. SpaceJump works on Apple Silicon and Intel Macs running macOS 13 or later, supports multiple monitors, and keeps names, colors, and icons after a restart. It does not require disabling System Integrity Protection. It costs $14.99 as a one-time purchase, which includes lifetime updates and use on 3 Macs, and a 14-day free trial is available with no credit card required.
