Spokenly is an AI-powered dictation app for Mac, Windows, Linux, and iPhone. Press a shortcut, speak, and your words appear at the cursor in any application, including tools like Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor, Terminal, and VS Code. It runs local Whisper and Parakeet models for free offline transcription, supports cloud engines through your own API keys, and works in over 100 languages with automatic language detection.

Privacy is central to the design. With local models, your voice never leaves your Mac, and a local-only mode blocks every network request. AI Instructions can clean up raw speech by fixing grammar, removing filler words, and formatting text to suit the app you are dictating into. Streaming engines show words as you speak, and past dictations can be searched, replayed, and exported. Spokenly also records meetings from your microphone and system audio, and it is offered in free, one-time Local+, and Pro subscription tiers.
