About

Stability Matrix is a multi-platform package manager for Stable Diffusion. It offers one-click install and update for a wide range of Stable Diffusion Web UI packages, including ComfyUI, SwarmUI, InvokeAI, Fooocus variants, and others. It can manage plugins and extensions for supported packages, install or update Python dependencies for each package, and includes embedded Git and Python so neither needs to be installed globally. Stability Matrix's Data Directory is fully portable, so it can be moved to a new drive or computer.

The app also includes Inference, a built-in interface for Stable Diffusion with syntax highlighting and auto-completion, workspaces saved as .smproj project files, customizable panels, and generated images that contain Inference Project, ComfyUI Nodes, and A1111-compatible metadata. A launcher provides a syntax-highlighted terminal emulator, launch argument editing, and configurable environment variables for each package.

For models, Stability Matrix provides a shared checkpoint manager used by all package installs, a Model Browser for importing from CivitAI and HuggingFace with metadata and preview images, pausable and resumable downloads, and drag-and-drop import of local models. The interface is localized in many languages.
