About
Suspicious Package is a Mac app for opening macOS Installer packages and seeing what's inside without installing them first. It shows where a package comes from, including who signed it, where it was downloaded from, whether Apple notarized it, and whether it supports Apple Silicon.
You can also see what a package installs. The app lets you browse installed files, view versions and other metadata, preview items with Quick Look, open text files and property lists, and export individual files or folders. It additionally shows the scripts the package will run, examines installer receipts, lists potential issues, and provides macOS Full Installer details.
Suspicious Package includes an extension for the macOS Quick Look feature, so you can preview a package directly from the Finder.
